With a fully-enclosed bar and chain, the Worx 6” 20V JAWSAW™ Chainsaw is the safest chainsaw you can buy. The bar and chain actually retract into the neck of the tool when not in use, so you’ll never have a bare chainsaw just lying around the yard. And when in use, the thick protective housing prevents the blade and chain from ever getting outside of it. The bar moves up and down to accommodate branches up to 4” thick, but far less of the chain is ever exposed. Plus, the housing acts as prop for cutting branches on the ground. With a traditional chainsaw, you have to prop them up first to safely cut them, but with the JAWSAW, you can get to work on fallen branches right from the grass or pavement. It’s lightweight, less than 8 lbs, so it’s easy to hold up high and cut above your head. As a matter of fact, it’s compatible with our 5-foot pole attachment (sold separately), so you can trim tree limbs without having to get on a ladder. That’s safer, too. And the auto-tension and auto-oiler systems will keep the chain operating at optimum levels throughout the life of this tool. This model comes with a 20V 2.0Ah battery and 0.4A charger, which you can use to operate any tool on the Worx Power Share platform. So the next time you buy a tool, you probably won’t need to buy a new battery.
