A 3-month free trial of the Sleep Insights Plan is included with purchase and can be canceled at any time before auto-renewal. Can I turn off the display screen at night? Absolutely. The 8" Home Display features Auto-Dim Mode and a Background Audio setting. This allows you to keep the screen dark while still hearing every sound from the nursery, while also extending battery life for overnight use. Can I still hear my baby without having the app open? Yes. The Nanit app includes a Background Audio setting that allows audio to continue playing even when your phone screen is off. By default, this feature is turned off.
